Founder and CEO - Voluntary Counselors Kenya Ltd.
Voluntary Counselors Kenya Ltd (VCK) is a non-profit organization in Kenya focused on community empowerment through education and sustainable development. They offer training in baking, cookery, beadwork, and counseling to equip individuals for personal and economic growth. VCK engages in community projects like drilling boreholes in arid areas, promoting agriculture, and supporting vulnerable groups. In 2023, they received a donation from Christine, Gary, and friends from Texas, USA, to drill a borehole in Masaailand, supporting over 3000 people and enabling the community to engage in domestic farming. VCK is requesting a $100,000 donation to support programs, including purchasing a 4x4 van for mission work and food transportation, digging another borehole in an arid community, and funding their training school. They aim to impact over 5000 lives in the next year.

Holistic Health Coach
Cecilia Labi's health coach business focuses on offering personalized coaching services to clients interested in proactive health management and lifestyle changes. Her approach includes holistic health coaching, personalized exercise programs, dietary and lifestyle evaluations, holistic techniques, disease prevention/intervention, weekly check-ins, one-on-one and group coaching, self-discovery processes, and goal setting. Cecilia aims to empower her clients to achieve long-term health and lifestyle changes.

The business plan includes a funding request of USD 10,000 to support the launch and growth of her coaching services. This funding will be used for training and certification in wellness coaching, sponsorship of unemployed women and youth for insurance certification, purchasing training equipment, materials for coaching sessions, and training programs, creating a social media presence, engaging in content marketing, exploring paid advertising on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn, attending events, speaking at engagements, and networking to grow her client base and establish her reputation as a health coach.

My passion is focused on the Health, Wellness and Beauty of African women, especially those over 40. We distribute organic food supplements, health, wellness and skincare products; including anti-aging, antioxidants and essential minerals and vitamins in East and Southern Africa. We are also involved in organic farming where we plant palm, avocado, jack fruit and wild berry tree seedlings for sale. Over the next 3 years, we are targeting to start a processing plant for vegetables, herbs and spices. Our ask to fund our business is $10,000 to enable us to continue to supply our products across more regions in Africa as well as to scale-up our organic farm.

At Custom-Fit Solutions Insurance Agency, we provide insurance advisory services to Individuals and families to help them protect their income, livelihoods, health and property and we also ensure continuity for businesses through customized risk mitigation and insurance protection plans.
We are involved in community through providing unemployed women and youth with training, coaching and skills development in entrepreneurship, personal financial planning and career development as well as placement services with insurance companies where they can build careers and earn income as financial advisers.
I am seeking funding of USD 10,000 to buy training equipment, train trainers and to sponsor unemployed women and youth get the required certification in insurance that will enable them secure employment opportunities as financial advisers with insurance companies.

products, services, and personal narrative, I will be creating a unique and impactful presence in both the educational and childcare industries. I am seeking grant funding of $10,000 to support the marketing of my book, to grow my counselling business and to start the feasibility study for the daycare educational center I am interested in starting.
